Gerber Shard

[$7] Sometimes you don’t need a multitool with 57 moving parts and countless different uses- sometimes you just need the basics. Gerber feels the same way, which is why they built the Shard- a simple, angular piece of stainless steel for your keychain. The Shard measures a compact 2.75″, and features a titanium nitride coating for corrosion resistance. Its functions include a philips and flathead screwdriver, bottle opener, pry bar, wire stripper, and of course a lanyard ring. Apparently it’s also airline safe, although we’re willing to bet an overzealous TSA agent would have no problem confiscating it. Either way, it’s a perfect carry to help you out of an everyday jam.
