That description is spot on. The Tough Mudder is a brutal obstacle course/marathon all in one, steering its participants through 10-12 miles of hills, mud, ice-cold water, rope courses, walls, electrical shocks, and yes, lots and lots of fire. Tough Mudder events take place all over the world and anyone can sign up, although we recommend you be in damn good shape before you line up on the starting block.
