Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Mouse    Posted date:  January 23, 2012  |  No comment

[$42/$72 w. Mouse] Lots of people have fancy keyboards with enough functionality to steer a low orbit satellite, but who honestly uses all that crap? Trick question: no one. What you really want is super-pretty, sustainable Bamboo Keyboard. (more…)

The Space Bar

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  USB    Posted date:  January 19, 2012  |  No comment

[$80] You can only cram so much junk into a computer, and sadly most computers don’t have room for nearly enough USB ports. Usually, you can only plug in a wireless mouse and a flash drive and then you’re SOL. However if you’ve got a few bucks to spare, you might consider picking up the Space Bar, a pretty, not-so-little computer stand that adds six USB ports to your arsenal. (more…)

Flying F*ck Helicopter

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Office    Posted date:  January 18, 2012  |  No comment

[$30] You know how whenever some overpaid, ego-bloated manager at your office starts prattling on about performance goals or TPS reports you feel the uncontrollable urge to dive into an empty swimming pool? Well save yourself the medical bills and tell your superiors how you really feel with the Flying Fuck Helicopter (also available here). (more…)

[$50] As human beings, the last thing we want to do is neglect our pets (A) because we don’t want to be inhumane a-holes and (B) just in case a Pet Cemetery situation arises, we don’t want to mauled by angry, undead pets. If you’re not sure if your furry friend is getting enough love, GreenGoose Wireless Pet Sensors can help you track your pets daily stats, including walking time, play time, and food consumption. (more…)

The Big Lebowski Macbook Decal: Mark It Zero

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  The Big Lebowski    Posted date:  January 10, 2012  |  No comment

[$8] There are things Walter Sobchack doesn’t do (roll on Shabbos, not tell Donny to shut up), and then there are things Walter Sobchack does quite frequently (pull out a piece on the lane, compare everything to Vietnam, mark it zero). Let’s all commemorate Walter with this Big Lebowski Macbook Decal. (more…)

Teak 4GB USB Drive

You took a lot of shit at the bottom of the corporate ladder, but you just got moved up to a middle management position, making it all worth it. Congratulations- you’re now thoroughly middle class. Celebrate your new social status with the ultimate symbol of middle classness- a Teak USB Drive. Or something. (more…)

Incase Sonic Headphone

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Headphones    Posted date:  December 5, 2011  |  No comment

[$200] Any audiophile will tell you that a good pair of headphones can run you thousands of dollars, but do a little quality testing and you’ll see you can still get top notch audio for a couple hundred bucks. Case in point: the Incase Sonic Headphone delivers a full, dynamic sound spectrum without completely killing your wallet. (more…)

Apple Juice Macbook Decal

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Apple    Posted date:  December 2, 2011  |  No comment

[$6] Let’s just get this out of the way up front: we know the Apple Juice Macbook Decal is a complete novelty. We agonized over whether it was post-worthy for a good 4 minutes (which is an eternity in UppGrader time), and ultimately decided to run with it. Why? Because it’s pretty clever even if it is completely silly- it’s like a Leslie Nielson movie but in decal form. (more…)

Cluzee is here!

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Apps    Posted date:  November 30, 2011  |  No comment

[Free] Say hello to Cluzee, AKA Siri for Android. Just like its iOS cousin, Cluzee has an awkward name takes voice commands and answers questions, but it will also track your exercise and caloric intake, find alternative driving routes, book travel arrangements, read your emails, announce breaking headlines, and do basic conversions. Unfortunately, the app is far from perfect, but it’s definitely headed in the right direction. Cluzee is free so you might as well check it out and see how it works on your Android device.

But thanks to the Up by Jawbone, we won’t have to worry about any of that crap anymore, because the Up does it all for us. (more…)

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Speaker    Posted date:  November 9, 2011  |  No comment

Grand Theft Auto 5 (Yes, We Posted the Trailer)

Posted by: uppgrade    Tags:  Game Time    Posted date:  November 2, 2011  |  No comment

[$60] Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming. When exactly we don’t know, but it’s coming. Sure as gas after a Chipotle burrito, it’s coming. GTA V is making a triumphant return to San Andreas, and it looks bigger and better than ever with superb graphics and unbelievable levels of detail. How do we know? Because we watched the Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer of course. And then we posted it… right after the jump. (more…)
