[$8] Drills are up in our top 3 power tools along with band saws and nail guns, so we’re really pumped to be able to use a drill for things besides drilling. The C.H. Hanson Drill Pencil Sharpener attaches to any electric drill, allowing you to sharpen your pencils in an overly manly fashion. Apparently it’s also good at sharpening “Wood Dowels, Candy Canes, Bread Sticks, Biscotti, Cheetos, Pretzel Sticks”. Gotta love Amazon reviewers. The Drill Pencil Sharpener fits any drill and 1/4” shank quick-change system. It also comes with four pencils, just in case you don’t know where to buy pencils I guess. You got it because it’s a constant source of entertainment, and if you’re willing to admit that little fact then let us introduce you to App Toyz RC Add-On. Using your iPhone as a remote control is nothing new given it’s wifi and Bluetooth capabilities, but the tinkerers at Media Sauce have added a new and inexpensive spin. By attaching a small, albeit goofy looking, add-on via the headphone jack, your phone is instantly converted into a remote control for either a helicopter ($80) or a car ($50). The device will be available “later this year”, with more toys being announced after the initial release.
