The decals are made of high quality vinyl as you’d expect and remove easily as you’d also expect. The cool think about Sunkwraps is that unlike most manufacturers, they’ve branched out to making skins for non-Apple devices, like the Kindle for example.

[$TBA] The iPhone 4 and its variants are pretty pieces of machinery what with their ultra-modern materials and sleek lines. But those who’ve seen just how far Apple has come – from being beaten to pieces by Microsoft to competing for the title of most valuable company on the planet – will appreciate the iPhone 4 Legacy Case that pays homage to that original 1980s Apple design. The Legacy Case was designed by Les Forges MDK and is being spec’d for production. That being the case, we can’t say much about the materials, but we know it has a frontside decal to match the back panel, and a protective metal fitting around the rim of the phone. Let’s hope this gets made soon.

Honestly we never cease to be amazed by the number of awesome small-time guys that come up with better and more useful phone/tablet accessories than the big multi-billion dollar corporations. Today’s offering is the MobileMount, designed by JR Sanchez and his team. It’s basically two twist-lock suction cups and a ball joint, but a little bit of clever engineering has made it into a superior tablet/phone stand. Unlike other suction-based mounts, the MobileMount’s twist-and-lock feature creates a stronger and longer lasting bond between your device and the mount. Additionally, the mount comes with an optional vinyl circle to help it attach to matte or rubberized gadgets, effectively eliminating the need to remove your case before you use the mount. Trimensional: The Best iPhone App Ever of the Day

You see, Grant and his Georgia Tech cohorts invented Trimensional- a 3D scanner for your iPhone that works incredibly well and costs thousands less than the average 3D scanner. Trimensional works by hitting your face (or whatever) with a few quick flashes of light from the iPhone and interprets feedback from your camera to create a 3D rendering of whatever you happen to be aiming at. You can then rotate and zoom in on the image, switch between 6 different rendering modes, create animated GIF images, and even export the images to a 3D printer. Pretty amazing stuff for only a dollar. Definitely check this one out, it’s worth every penny. Images after the break.
